Volleyball team loses two conference matches

The Chatfield volleyball team lost a pair of Three Rivers Conference matches last week to Lewiston-Altura and Cotter. 

Both matches were done in three sets.  L-A won the match on Tuesday 25-23, 25-14 and 25-22.  Set scores for the Cotter match were 25-16, 25-11 and 25-9.

Stats taken from the Post Bulletin for the Lewiston-Altura match show: Kielan LaPlante with nine kills; Belle Berg, 12 digs; Teagan Allen, 13 assists, two ace serves; Abi Hinckley, 11 digs, three ace serves; Paige Erickson, five kills, 1.5 blocks; Carlie Berge, 0.5 block; and Alanna Goetzinger, one block.

No information was submitted, or available from the Cotter match.

Chatfield only has one match this week, Thursday, when the Gophers will host the Falcons from Wabasha-Kellogg.  The team will travel to Rushford-Peterson on Tuesday, Oct. 2, and host Dover-Eyota on Thursday, Oct. 4.
