Ronda Oesterle, 51, of Caledonia

Ronda Rae Oesterle, 51, of Caledonia, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at her home.

She was born July 29, 1967, in La Crosse, Wis., to Leonard and Elizabeth (Stene) Flatten. Ronda graduated from Houston High School in 1985. She was united in marriage to Gary Oesterle April 15, 1989 in Houston.

Ronda worked at Rush Products in Rushford for many years, and then she worked as a cashier at Caledonia Liquor Store, The Country Store, and Kwik Trip in Caledonia. Ronda loved life and people; she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband Gary of Caledonia; children, Alan (Caitlin Hoppe) of Houston, and Brandi (Corby Kohlmeier) of Caledonia; grandchildren, Karson and Kyliena Oesterle; sisters, Roxanne (Jim) Flatten Grondin of Houston and Rochelle (Mitch) Flatten Belina of Owatonna; nieces and nephew, Nikki and Greg Johann, Katie and Rachel Belina; mother in law, Virginia Oesterle; brothers and sisters in law, Bob Oesterle, Jeannie (Darrel) Hahn, LeAnn Treangen, Daryl Treangen, Eric (Annie) Oesterle, and Dianne Morken.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Len and Betty Flatten; father in law, Robert Oesterle; and brother in law, John Morken.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Looney Valley Lutheran Church, rural Houston. Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery, Houston. Visitation was Monday from 4-7 p.m. at McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday before the service at the church.
