Edgington excels in state All-Star match

Spring Grove's Mariah Edgington was one of 13 just-graduated high school volleyball players at the annual Minnesota All-Star Match, which was featured at the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association Clinic on July 24 at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School.

The Lion All-State hitter had 9 kills, 1 assist, 6 digs and 1 block while playing for the Red Team, which fell in four sets to the Blue Team, 3-1.

Edgington, the 2019 Spring Grove Female Athlete of the Yearand the school's first All-Statehonoree, will play this upcoming school year at Minnesota State University - Mankato.
